ELTR is a very welcoming environment for anybody wanting to remove their tattoos, big or small. Pete is very knowledgable and informative about the whole process. I am currently removing a half sleeve and am really happy with the results!

Kane. A

Highly recommend ELTR. After successfully removing 3 of my teenage tattoos, I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Sarah. G

I was really apprehensive about the treatment being painful and worried about scarring. The guys at ELTR really put my mind at ease. The treatment is a little uncomfortable but is super quick and after 8 sessions I’ve been left with no tattoo and no scarring!

Our Top FAQs

Here are the answers to our most frequently asked questions. If there's anything specific you'd like to know that isn't covered here, please get in touch using the contact form below.

Treatments are a little uncomfortable but are very quick! Usually within a minute or two. The feeling has been described as like a rubber band snapping on your skin. Although the laser works on light, it hits with so much force that it generates a heat when the tattoo is treated. We counter this with the use of a Cryo 6 cold air machine, this cools the skin down before during and after treatment making it a much more comfortable process.

It’s impossible to give an exact amount of treatments needed in any case due to the amount of variables, these include placement, colour, age, density and the person’s immune system. A rough estimate for full removal would be 8-12 treatments, just fading down for a coverup could be anything from 1-6 treatments depending on how light it needs to be to cover.

Absolutely! A huge percentage of clients are lightening their old tattoos enough to cover. It’s recommended to leave a minimum of 12 weeks from your last laser session to tattoo the area again. There are several examples of this on the shop’s Instagram @elliottlasertattooremoval.

Prices start from £60 per session. The price goes up according to size and density. For bigger projects like sleeves and backpieces, we can create custom packages.

Laser tattoo removal done right should not produce any scar tissue. Sometimes small blisters can occur in the healing process, if these burst then infection can happen leading to some superficial scarring. As long as aftercare instructions are adhered to there should be very few issues. Unfortunately there are a lot of clinics operating with cheap equipment, these cheap machines cause thermal damage to the surrounding tissue and can produce some heavy scarring which can make full removal very difficult. It’s so important to chose your laser operator carefully!

We need to leave a minimum gap of 6-8 weeks between treatments. This is to allow your body sufficient time to flush away all the fragmented ink particles properly. Although your tattoo will usually look healed after a week or two, its paramount we leave the appropriate gap, we won’t budge on this as it could compromise the removal.

Size is not always an accurate indicator of time spent, when it comes to tattoo removal. For this reason the guide prices below may, on occasion, differ slightly from your final quotation.
